LUXURY SUBMARINE DESIGNED LIKE A FISH FEATURES 'VIEWING ORB,' ELEVATOR AND ENTERTAINMENT AREA WITH GRAND PIANO

Currently being designed, a luxury fish-shaped submarine will allow people to have the ultimate underwater vacation experience.

Dubbed the “Deep Sea Dreamer” it will be able to dive as deep as 328 feet, cruise for up to 100 miles, and stay stationary underwater for up to seven days at a time thanks to onboard batteries, Knewz.com has learned.

It’s not yellow, but once it’s seaworthy, this submarine, designed with couples in mind, will be complete with a viewing orb for uninterrupted below the ocean views, luxury cabins and “lounge pads,” The Sun reports. It has even been designed with the serenity of marine life in mind, as the sub will be powered by a silent, electric motor.

The concept is the brainchild of California-based yacht designer, Steve Kozloff, of Steve Kozloff Designs. Kozloff has gone all out when it comes to the sleek sub. It’s billed as a “submersible paradise designed for couples seeking ultimate privacy and an intimate connection with the ocean.”

When the sub is on the surface, guests will be able to take advantage of the 2,447 square foot deck, with space for lounging and entertaining - there's a grand piano in the concept images.

The upper and lower decks combined create around 1,500 square feet of living area and include a salon, kitchen, and a lounge area in front of the observation bubble.

The top deck – known as the upper bridge deck – comes complete with plush recliners and a stocked wet bar, while the lower main deck boasts the panoramic observation salon, which features an additional four plush recliners on the glass floor, where you can watch the underwater life below.

Moving between the upper and lower decks is via either a watertight elevator or the separate watertight ladder tube.

The master suite includes a private bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet, and there’s a dedicated guest cabin if you want to bring along friends or family. The guest cabin also has its own bathroom. There’s even a laundry on board.

One of The Deep Sea Dreamer's main features is its flexible docking. The sub can either be anchored using the traditional surface method approach by dropping an anchor, or through submerged mooring, with the snorkel mast reaching the surface of the water.

The initial specs reveal that the submersible will be 106.5 feet long, with the structure made entirely of steel. The deck will be made of teak “or equivalent accommodations,” and the sub will be able to take on board six guests and two crew members.

The maximum speed of the sub will be 10 knots, while the cruising speed will be 6 knots while semi-submerged and using the snorkel.

Kozloff, who was born in 1954, was introduced to sailing as a child. According to his website, his father was a nautical engineer, world class designer, and racer. Like father, like son, Kozloff started drawing mega luxury yacht concepts when he was just 8 years old. A self-taught engineer, today he designs not just yachts but has also designed an aircraft, an expedition vehicle, and a container ship.
