Wild Italy - Part 1: Volcanic Wates | Nature Documentary Watch 'Wild Italy - Part 2' here: https://youtu.be/xsfG1P6esl0 The journey begins in the volcanic waters of the Caldera of Manziana to Lago (or Lake) Bracciano, crossing the hilly, wild land of the Etruscans, in Central Italy, showing us the rich wildlife which to this day inhabits streams, rocky gorges, woods, and lakeshores. A million years ago, Italy was a battlefield where enormous, violent volcanoes raised mountains and erased valleys, in a world with no room for plants or animals. Then, a hundred thousand years ago, the craters turned into lakes and wildlife conquered the volcanic waters: from spectacled salamanders living in the lakes to the giant sperm whale swimming in the sea that surrounds the islands, skies dwelled by golden eagles hunting at the top of the volcano and Eleonora’s falcons living on the cliffs. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary - Nature Channel for free: http://bit.ly/2mFDC3Q Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentaryNature #Documentary #WildItaly ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bring high-class documentaries to you on youtube for free. Watch our documentary here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuFv4iF8wgg&t=1s Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;) So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time! After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :) We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey! 00:00 Canada's longest train! 01:40 day 1: Prestige Class room tour 10:46 day 2: Rocky Mountains 18:12 day 3: full train tour! 26:42 day 4: first shower ;) 30:58 day 5: last day! 32:08 bloops :)

Trapped in the icy waters of the Northwest Passage | Podcast | Overheard at National Geographic
On the trail of a doomed 19th century polar expedition, modern explorers met the same danger: devastating, unpredictable sea ice. For centuries, the Northwest Passage, the long-sought sea route connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans through northern Canada, was a holy grail of Arctic exploration. Even now, sailing through it isn’t guaranteed. Mark Synnott, a National Geographic Explorer, writer, and adventurer, attempted to sail his own boat through the Northwest Passage to retrace the doomed 1845 expedition of British explorer Sir John Franklin. None of the Franklin expedition’s 129 men made it home, but what exactly happened remains a mystery. Photo Caption Mark Synnott poses for a portrait aboard his sailboat, Polar Sun. The Arctic, Synnott says, is “pretty much the most magical place on Earth.” But when sea ice cornered Synnott and Polar Sun into a Canadian bay while traversing the Northwest Passage, the scene felt less magical and more like a punch to the gut. Where I've Been for the Last 2 Months | I Install New Windows in my Off Grid Log Cabin, Home Again!
After 6 weeks on the road exploring the sunny American south, I return to the cabin on the coldest day of the year. On the first warmer day, I take advantage of the winter thaw to replace the front windows on the cabin, from salvaged single pane wood fixed windows to new wood and double pane awning windows that will provide better insulation in the winter and more ventilation in the summer. I talk about where I've been, show some footage of the American southwest and share some plans for upcoming projects. 8K Amazing Wildlife of Botswana - Savuti, Linyati & Riverfront of Chobe National Park - Part 1
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking wilderness of Africa with this stunning 8K wildlife video. Soar over the vast savannah of Botswana, where majestic lions rule, impressive giraffes roam as elephants graze, and cheetahs unleash their raw speed. Witness the vibrant tapestry of life, from graceful impalas leaping across the plains to colorful wild birds painting the sky. Feel the earth vibrate with the pounding hooves of wildebeests and the playful barks of baboons. This 8K UHD footage captures every intricate detail, from the contrasting fur of leopards to the strong skin of elephants. Let the real sounds of nature transport you to the heart of Savuti, Linuyanti, and Riverfront in Chobe National Park, South Africa. This virtual safari is more than just a video; it's a sensory experience, a chance to unwind and reconnect with the raw beauty of the wild. So, sit back, relax, and let Africa's charm wash over you in a stunning 8K Ultra HD. Among the many unique savannah species here in Chobe National Park are some truly incredible birds. Take the Gray go-away-bird and the Verreaux's Eagle-Owl. Their names alone pique your curiosity, but their fascinating adaptations and behaviors will leave you awestruck. Despite its drab name, the Gray go-away-bird is a vocal powerhouse. Its loud, melancholic cry, which sounds like "go away," earned it its name. But this cry isn't just a mournful tune; it's a clever defense mechanism! The go-away-bird uses its song to warn other birds of approaching predators, creating a cacophony that can confuse and deter even the fiercest hunters. They're expert mimics. Not only can they mimic the calls of other birds, but they can even imitate the alarm calls of mammals like monkeys and baboons. This ability to speak the language of the savannah further expands their early-warning network, making them the neighborhood watchdogs of the avian world. The Verreaux's Eagle-Owls have an uncanny ability to hear in the dark. Their enormous, asymmetrical ears are like satellite dishes, pinpointing the faintest rustle of a rodent or the flutter of a moth's wings in the dead of night. This makes them apex predators in the darkness, silently swooping down on unsuspecting prey with laser-like precision. In 2022, adventurer-filmmaker Robert Hofmeyr set his sights on Botswana, Red-V-Raptor in tow. He plunged into the soul of untouched national parks, capturing the land's spellbinding beauty and teeming wildlife with an intimacy rarely seen. His devotion birthed a breathtaking video, a vibrant hymn to Botswana's natural treasures, and a testament to the unwavering spirit needed to unveil such a wondrous spectacle. In this video you will see: Baboon 00:00:00 Helmeted guineafowl 00:03:30 Lion 00:05:12 African Buffalo 00:13;20 African fish eagle 00:14:38 Zebra 00:16:57 Cape Dove 00:28:52 African Elephants 00:37:28 Verreaux's Eagle-Owl 00:43:45 Impala 00:45:10 Common Ostrich 00:46:44 Wildebeest 00:48:38 Baboon 00:59:07 Kudu 01:29:37 Yellow mongoose 01:31:38 Swainson's spurfowl 01:33:43 Magpie shrike 01;34:26 Impala 01:34:54 Common warthog 01:35:19 Jackal 01:36:38 African Elephant 01:40:45 Grey go-away-bird 01:53:18 Zebras 02:03:05 Leopard 02:10:53 Kori bustard 02:24:07 Yellow-billed kite 02:30:59 Lion cubs 02:41:29 Senegal coucal 02:42;36 Blue waxbill 02:44:17 Crested barbet & Red-billed hornbill 02:44:41 Smith's bush squirrel 02:53:23 Cheetah 03:29:13 Giraffe from above 03:48:30 Common warthog 03:49:22 Jackal 04:06:03 Vulture 04:16:43 Marabou stork 04:17:59 Giraffe 04:27:23 Double-banded sandgrouse 04:41:37 Southern ground hornbill 04:57:09- Lion cubs 05:05:23 Cheetah 05:25:35 African Buffalo 05:35:17 Kori bustard 06:25:43 Video from: Chobe National Park, #Botswana, Africa Video title: Nature And Wildlife Of Botswana, Savuti, Linyanti and Riverfront Of Chobe National Park Part 1 Time of filming: 2022 Equipment used: Red-V-Raptor Video resolution: #8KUHD Video type: #Wildlife video Producer: Roman Khomlyak, Pro Art Inc Cinematographer: Robert Hofmeyr Editor, colorist, and sound designer: Vasyl Shemet Supervising editor: Oleksandr Diakov All copyrights for video and audio materials belong to Pro Art Inc. company Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg72Hd6UZAgPBAUZplnmPMQ/join To watch our videos without ads and watermarks subscribe to our relax app: https://4krelax.com For licensing questions: http://goo.gl/i0VUj6 Please SUBSCRIBE to my 4K RELAXATION CHANNEL so you do not miss anything.

80 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - Airplane Highlights - Airbus A380, A310, Beluga, Boeing 747 ... (4K)
80 Minutes pure aviation, today with some aviation highlights of my planespotting journey. We ll start this video with a special Airbus A310 of the spanish government which visited Maastricht Airport for a paint job last year. Although the aircraft is quite old it is still doing a great job. The Airbus didn` t even get another paint scheme, they just feshed up the old livery with some new paint. Another highlight is the Airbus Beluga which recently became availabe for charter companies. Normally this special built planes only fly between the airbus factory to bring new Airbus parts to the places where they have to be. This week an Airbus Beluga brought a satelite from Toulouse to the USA and to get there they had to do three fuel stops. Obviously the Beluga doesn` t have the best fuel consumption especially when compared to other modern aircrafts. I also included some Boeing 747` s I filmed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Liege. The B747 is still one of my favorite aircrafts and I always enjoy watching these massive planes rotate in front of my camera lense. Liege is the place to be if you are interested in B747` s. I assume the Jumbo Traffic in Liege will even rise in the near future because there are rumours that Amsterdam Schiphol won` t accept B747` s anymore from 2026. _____________________________________________________________ SOCIAL MEDIA Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/cargospotterhd Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/cargospotter/ _____________________________________________________________ Airport: Liege (LGG/EBGL), Düsseldorf (DUS/EDDL), Amsterdam (AMS/EHAM), Frankfurt (FRA/EDDF), Hamburg (XFW/EDHI), Hahn (HHN/EDFH) Thanks for watching, new videos every tuesday and friday.

CARTA: The Recent History of Tattooing in Europe and North America
This talk presents a new account of the development of professional tattooing in Britain and America since the late 19th century. Research based exclusively in primary sources reveals that the story of what kickstarted the creation of commercial tattooing, and what sustained it, ultimately becomes intelligible as a small and interconnected network of transnational artists and – crucially – clients. These newly clarified networks problematise both the date and form of the customary notion of a “Tattoo Renaissance” in the 1970s and 80s. Moreover, this research presents a more diverse account of the transmission of design, technology and influence throughout Euro-American tattooing than had previously been understood both within the industry, and beyond. Research is drawn from Dr Lodder’s next book on the history of the modern Euro-American tattoo industry, due to be published in late 2024 with Yale University Press.
